Round 4: Jasper in Green

This is for the Model Challenge being run by  at  in which we were given the challenge of making an outfit using a gemstone, in my case a lovely green jasper (pictured above.)  I absolutely loved the various shades of green in this stone, as well as the light cream, yellow and white which was found in various hues throughout it.  When I first started trying to make a dress based on it, I had something completely different in mind than what I've ended up with.  It was going to be one of those slender sheath dresses and I had started to recreate the interesting pattern that the main stone has.  But every time I went to work on it, my creativity muse would wander off and I could NOT for the life of me coax her back.  *LOL*  I finally took the hint and went with something else.  It's a lot more of an abstract version of something inspired by the stone, but I still like how it turned out.  I tried to work those circle shapes in where I could, with the differently colored rings, and I gave the under-blouse a texture to emulate the white and cream part near the top portion of the gem.  With everything else, I was mostly trying to find ways to represent the various colors that show up in the stone.  Also, my apologies for getting this in by the skin of my teeth.  Hopefully my muse will be more cooperative for the next challenge.  As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Character wise, I could see Angela maybe wearing this to a formal tea or a luncheon.  It's not exactly her most favorite style as it's still rather formal, but at least it's green.
